How Small Farmers Are Embracing Using Alternative Energy Sources on Their Farms
Saving energy is a much more important priority than it has ever been before with new studies surrounding global warming. These studies have shown that the increased number of emission gases that are emitted through cars and other energy using items that cause the Carbon Dioxide to suffer in the air. If we do not do something to try to stop or even slow down the global warming then the earth’s land will suffer significantly for future generations.
Many local farmers are committed to what is the healthiest way to raise their crops or animals in the most natural state versus a mass production of lower quality products. These are the farmers that are joining the movement of using alternative energy sources to help run their farm to help offset their expenses as well as doing what is healthier for the environment. The organic small farmer seems to be very connected to the earth and doing what is right for it as well as for their own farm.
Many of these small farmers are incorporating in their businesses the use of wind turbines or small wind generators to save on energy costs. Depending on the size of the farm, there is a size of turbine that would be appropriate or several if there is the space for it. These are tall structures that are made from hydraulic construction so they require no expensive cranes to install or for maintenance. They are white with three fans or blades on them that rotate when the wind blows and generates energy from the energy of the wind. This energy is then stored and used for whatever electricity is required for the farm to operate which is significant.
Another helpful and crucial thing to have on a farm is a wind generator that helps to turn the wind into electricity. This is said to be the new electricity of the future and will save the small farmer that already struggles to make a living, save a significant amount of money on electricity. This can be very valuable for farmers in windy states such as Oklahoma where that wind can now be bottled up and used. Another thing farmers can use if they live in a sunny climate are solar panels to help to heat their water. This is another great renewable energy source that people and businesses like these farmers are turning to.
It is more important than ever for every person to make a concerted effort to do whatever they can to help the environment. If this is as simple as recycling or putting in energy efficient light bulbs in your house, then that will help make a difference.

Situations like this are never quite as simple as you might think, but I resepct your point of view
